Walk into inspection knowing your grade.

Be Assured gives your team one place to self-assess against the consumer standards, prove it with evidence, fix what’s missing and show the board exactly where you stand.

What you get from day one
  • 4Consumer standards, built in and kept current
  • 277Expectations turned into plain questions
  • 1Predicted grade your board can track
What changes for your team

Three problems we see at almost every landlord, and how we fix them.

Preparing for inspection takes months
The problem

When the regulator’s notice arrives, staff drop the day job to hunt for policies, data and board papers across shared drives and inboxes.

What fixes it

A single evidence centre where every document is linked to the exact expectation it proves, with dates and owners, all year round.

Example

A 9,000-home association answers the regulator’s data request in days, because the stock, repairs and complaints evidence is already mapped.

You don’t know which gaps matter most
The problem

Self-assessments in spreadsheets say “compliant” against most lines, but can’t show where the proof is thin or the data is out of date.

What fixes it

Automatic gap analysis that flags unevidenced answers, expiring certificates and weak data, then ranks them by impact on your predicted grade.

Example

The platform spots 1,120 homes with no stock survey since 2021. It becomes action IMP-042, owned by the Head of Assets, due March 2027.

The board gets a long paper, not a clear view
The problem

Board members are responsible for compliance with the standards, but quarterly reports are written by hand and hard to compare over time.

What fixes it

A board assurance report generated from live data: predicted grade, direction of travel, top risks, overdue actions and sector context.

Example

The audit and risk committee sees evidence coverage rise from 58% to 86% in a year, and which standard is still holding the grade back.

Everything in one platform

Built for the people who carry the standards day to day.

Self-assessment

Plain-English questions for every required outcome and specific expectation, assigned to the right teams.

Evidence centre

Upload once, link many times. See which documents support which answers, and when they expire.

Gap analysis

Missing or weak evidence surfaces on its own, ranked by how much it affects your grade.

Improvement plan

Every gap becomes an action with an owner, a date and a progress status the board can follow.

Board reporting

Quarterly dashboards and assurance reports built from the data, frozen once issued.

Regulatory watch

Changes to the standards, Awaab’s Law and new inspection reports flagged against your answers.

The point isn’t a good grade for its own sake. It’s homes that are safe, repairs done right, complaints that get answered and neighbourhoods people are proud of. Be Assured helps you prove it, and find where it’s not happening yet.

  • Use Tenant Satisfaction Measures alongside your evidence to spot where residents feel let down
  • Track damp, mould and hazard response against Awaab’s Law timescales
  • Show residents’ panels what you’re doing about the gaps
What you’re graded on

One public grade. A weakness anywhere pulls it down.

The regulator gives a single consumer grade across all four standards. Be Assured predicts yours from your evidence, so you can see it moving long before inspection.

Questions

What housing providers ask us

We have fewer than 1,000 homes. Is this for us?

Yes. Smaller providers aren’t on the routine four-year inspection cycle, but they still have to meet every consumer standard and the regulator can act on any concerns it hears about. Be Assured scales down so a small team can keep a clear, provable position without a big compliance function.

How long does it take to get started?

Most providers have the framework set up and teams answering questions after a single onboarding session, over a video call or face to face. We help you import existing self-assessment work so you don’t start from a blank page.

Does it replace our housing management system?

No. Your housing, asset and CRM systems stay as they are. Be Assured sits on top as the assurance layer, holding the evidence and the position, not the day-to-day transactions.

Can our consultant work with us inside the platform?

Yes. You can invite an external assessor into your workspace with controlled access, so a mock inspection uses the same evidence your team already holds.

Does the predicted grade mean we’ll get that grade?

No tool can promise a regulatory outcome. The predicted grade is our own scoring of your evidence against the standards, designed to show you direction and risk. The regulator makes its own judgement.

Ready to see your position?

We’ll walk you through the platform with a sample landlord and show you what your first 90 days would look like.
